The New Acura TSRP Window Sticker

On June 1, 2026, Acura updated its window stickers (Monroney Labels) for new vehicles. The phrase "Total Vehicle Price" has been replaced with "Total Suggested Retail Price," which is also referred to as "TSRP." TSRP includes the base MSRP, plus any charges for premium color upgrades, factory-installed options and accessories, and destination and handling.1 This change is meant to increase pricing transparency and consistency.

Here's how the change will be reflected on the window stickers.

Prior Monroney Label (before June 1, 2026)

At present, the Monroney Label shows the "Total Vehicle Price," which is the sum of the following components:

  • The base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)
  • Any applicable color upgrade
  • Factory-installed options and accessories
  • Destination and handling charges
Current Monroney Label (after June 1, 2026)

The new Monroney Label replaces Total Vehicle Price with Total Suggested Retail Price, which is the sum of the following components:

  • The base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)
  • Any applicable color upgrade
  • Factory-installed options and accessories
  • Destination and handling charges

Q: What is TSRP exactly?
A: Total Suggested Retail Price (TSRP) includes MSRP, destination and handling charges, any applicable color upgrade, and factory-installed options and accessories.
Q: Why change from MSRP to TSRP?
A: We did not change from MSRP to TSRP. The Monroney Label still includes MSRP, which is the base suggested price, not including premium colors, destination & handling, or factory-installed options and accessories. Total Vehicle Price was replaced with Total Suggested Retail Price to clarify that this is the total price suggested by the manufacturer, which includes the components listed above.
Q: Are TSRP and MSRP prices the same?
A: No. TSRP will always exceed MSRP due to the inclusion of line items such as any applicable color upgrade, factory-installed options and accessories, and destination and handling charges.
Q: Are dealer-installed accessories included in TSRP?
A: No. TSRP applies only to the vehicle as assembled by the manufacturer and delivered to the dealer. Dealer-installed accessories or treatments must be disclosed and priced by the dealer.
Q: Does TSRP include absolutely everything?
A: No. It does not include dealer-installed accessories or treatments. Also, because sales tax, title, and registration fees vary by state, they aren't included in TSRP.
Q: Is the new TSRP the actual “drive-off” price?
A: No. Dealers determine the asking price for their vehicles, which should represent the total price at which a client can purchase the vehicle and drive it off the lot.
Q: When will TSRP window stickers arrive?
A: They were attached to new 2026 and 2027 Acura vehicles starting June 1, 2026.
