Lexus NX 350

2026 Updates

There are no major changes to the Lexus for 2026, save for the elimination of the base NX 250. The NX 350 AWD is now the starting point, with higher "Premium," "Luxury” and "Sport Handling" trims available. Note that AWD is now standard on all NX models, but it is no match for the RDX's performance-focused SH-AWD.

Competitive Points

Conquer the Curves

Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) offers 4-season cornering confidence.

  • SH-AWD with rear-wheel torque vectoring:
    • RDX: Advanced torque vectoring overdrives the outside rear wheel to improve cornering
    • NX 350: Rear-wheel torque vectoring not available

The story is: Drive an RDX and feel the secure control.

Wheels Make the Ride

Big, aggressive wheels and tires set the stage for performance.

  • Wheels:
    • RDX: 19-inch alloy wheels
    • NX 350: 18-inch alloy wheels

The story is: The RDX, even in base trim, offers a sportier look.

Mood Enhancer

The panoramic moonroof. It’s standard on every RDX.

  • Panoramic moonroof:
    • RDX: Comes as a standard feature on every trim
    • NX 350: A non-panoramic moonroof is available, at an additional cost, and a panoramic moonroof is only offered on highest trims

The story is: When you drive the RDX, enjoy the open-air feeling at no additional cost.

Step On It

With a 10-speed transmission, RDX is ready for nearly anything.

  • Transmission:
    • RDX: 10-speed
    • NX 350: 8-speed

The story is: With more gears, the RDX offers both quick acceleration and efficient highway cruising.

More Welcoming Seating

With driver-position memory, RDX adapts to you.

  • Driver-position memory:
    • RDX: Comes as a standard feature
    • NX 350: Requires upgrading to “Premium” trim

The story is: The RDX gives you the premium features you expect in a premium SUV, at no additional cost.

Easy. Intuitive. Exclusive.

True Touchpad Interface™ (TTI). Because technology should be simple.

  • Simple touchpad interface:
    • RDX: TTI comes as a standard feature
    • NX 350: Not offered

The story is: In the RDX, you control your infotainment with a simple tap, press, swipe, drag, and drop—it's easy and intuitive.

More Room When You Roam

The RDX has a significant advantage in cargo volume.
  • Maximum cargo volume (rear seats folded flat):
    • RDX: 79.8 cubic feet
    • NX 350: 46.9 cubic feet

The story is: With significantly larger cargo capacity, the RDX is the more capable, configurable choice for your active lifestyle. In fact, the RDX offers 70% more space than the NX 350, partly because of its clever under-floor storage.
