Parking Sensors

Front and rear ultrasonic-wave parking sensors determine proximity of objects to the front and rear, and trigger an audible alert and warning icon in the digital instrument cluster if an obstacle is detected.

• The alert cadence varies depending on object distance.
• Slow, intermittent beeps sound when an object is first detected at a distance.
• Beeping cadence increases as the vehicle gets closer to the object.
• The system will sound a continuous tone when the object is within a few inches of the vehicle.
