Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) (with Traffic Jam Assist)

Helps you steer more precisely, helping keep the vehicle more centered in its lane, so you can feel more in control, especially on narrow roadways.

• The LKAS³⁸ uses a camera to identify lane markings and works to keep the vehicle within a detected lane.
• If the vehicle moves out of a detected lane without using a turn signal, the system sends a slight tug to the steering wheel and guides the car to the center of the lane.
• Though the steering wheel may move during its course adjustment, you can easily hold your course if you want.
• LKAS works on straight or mildly curving roads at speeds of 45–90 mph.
• Traffic Jam Assist helps reduce driver stress in highly congested traffic situations by helping keep the vehicle in its lane and a set interval behind a detected vehicle ahead at speeds between 0 and 45 mph. (Traffic Jam Assist is not available with 6-speed manual transmission.)
