The Integrated Dynamics System (IDS) automatically and seamlessly fine-tunes the vehicle on a real-time basis to help maximize performance and driver enjoyment, regardless of conditions.
Systems adjusted via the console-mounted Dynamic Mode switch include:
Throttle response
Automatic transmission function
Active Sound Control (ASC)
Electric Power Steering (EPS)
Adaptive Damper System (ADS) (A-Spec® with Technology Package)
Idle Stop functionality
Instrument lighting theme
Using the console-mounted Dynamic Mode switch, drivers may preset Comfort or Normal as their default mode (enabled upon engine start), while the Sport and Individual (A-Spec with Technology Package) modes can be selected after engine startup. The selected mode is then displayed on the instrument panel.
Comfort mode optimizes throttle response, shifting and electric power steering for the most luxurious driving experience. This setting makes the Integra relaxed and easy to drive.
Normal mode enhances throttle, EPS and Adaptive Damper System (A-Spec with Technology Package) to sharpen vehicle dynamics. This setting provides direct and sport-tuned response and feel.
Sport mode adjusts transmission shift mapping, throttle response, EPS, Adaptive Damper System (A-Spec with Technology Package) and Active Sound Control (ASC) to maximize the driver experience. Idle Stop is disabled.
Individual mode allows drivers to independently select their desired setting (Comfort, Normal or Sport) for all controlled dynamic systems including powertrain (throttle response, transmission shift mapping and Active Sound Control [ASC]), steering, Idle Stop, Adaptive Damper System (A-Spec with Technology Package) and instrument lighting schemes.
