Visible and audible cues alert you when signaling a lane change into an adjacent, occupied lane.¹⁶

• Radar sensors in the rear bumper can trigger an alert when another vehicle is detected alongside or just to the rear in an adjacent lane.
• A warning light near the outside rearview mirror can alert the driver to the detected vehicle on that side.
• If the turn signals are activated to indicate a lane change when a vehicle is detected alongside, the system will issue an audible tone as well.
