Direct Injection (DI)

Sends fuel directly into the combustion chambers, delivering more power without sacrificing fuel efficiency.

  • Direct injection permits a higher compression ratio, for greater combustion efficiency with more power and fuel efficiency.
  • A damper inside the high-pressure pump makes Acura’s direct-injection system quieter than most competing systems.
