Helical Limited-Slip Differential

To maximize available traction when accelerating out of corners, power is routed through a helical limited-slip differential (LSD) in manual transmission-equipped vehicles.

  • The LSD delivers extra torque to the wheel(s) with the most traction to minimize wheel slip and help maintain control of the vehicle.
