ATTITUDE COMES STANDARD

Integra Type S wraps massive technical upgrades in a seductive skin. It’s substantially wider than the standard Integra, with boldly flared fenders, a more muscular stance and a commanding road presence. Every body panel forward of the A-pillars is unique to Type S, led by a new more aggressive front fascia and larger open-surface Diamond Pentagon grille. In back, you’ll find three large center-mounted exhaust outlets. A special gloss black diffuser and a decklid spoiler intensify downforce.

BMW, Audi, Mercedes-AMG: The list of manufacturers that DON’T offer a manual transmission in this class is long and prestigious.

But in the Integra Type S, performance isn’t automatic. Your talents are needed – and enhanced – with a standard short-throw 6-speed manual transmission that feels like it’s directly linked to your central nervous system.

Even better, automatic rev-matching smooths every downshift in the Integra Type S. A standard helical-type limited-slip differential (LSD) helps put the engine’s substantial power to the pavement with maximum effectiveness.

The high-revving heart of the Integra Type S is a DOHC turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC® engine with 33% greater displacement than the regular Integra 1.5-liter 4-cylinder. With an exhilarating 320 horsepower (SAE net @ 6500 rpm) and 310 lb-ft of torque (SAE net @ 2600 to 4000 rpm), the Type S has class-leading power that pumps adrenalin into every drive. Type S delivers more than just specs – give it a listen: The Type S active exhaust valve uncorks a party in Sport+ mode with raucous pops and bangs that just might make your palms sweat.

The driver-focused cabin of the Integra Type S features sumptuous seating for four, premium materials and exclusive Type S high-performance details. Sport seats with perforated Ultrasuede® inserts and firmer seat bolsters support you securely during high-G cornering, without sacrificing luxurious comfort.

The Type S features an innovative dual-axis front suspension design for reduced torque steer – important with so much power. A wider wheel track (front and rear) makes the Type S planted and supremely confident when cornering G’s spike. Larger front and rear stabilizer bars help keep the body flat when the road gets rowdy.

The standard Adaptive Damper System (ADS) is specially tuned for the Type S to offer extremely high performance – without sacrificing ride quality. Unique damping characteristics in Comfort, Sport and Sport+ driving modes let you instantly tune the Type S to suit your mood. Take your pick – then let it rip.

 

TENACIOUS GRIP

The Type S rolls on wide, lightweight 19-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels with a new 10-spoke NSX Type S-inspired design. For maximum suspension performance, they’re two pounds lighter than Integra A-Spec® wheels. Wide and sticky 265/30 R19 MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport 4 S high-performance summer tires rail through turns where lesser rubber slips and squeals.

 

AGGRESSIVE BREMBO BRAKES

For exceptional braking performance and fade resistance, the Integra Type S has massive 13.8-inch two-piece front rotors that are 1.5 inches larger in diameter than those of other Integra models. Ducts in the front fascia send them cool air. Front Brembo® 4-piston monobloc aluminum calipers have a racy, responsive feel when you’re braking at the limit. Rear rotors measure 12.0 inches in diameter (+0.9 inches larger than those of other Integra models).

 

ULTIMATE TECH AND AUDIO

The Integra Type S features class-leading standard technology, including a 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit™ Digital Instrument Cluster, a 9-inch color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay®49 and Android Auto™50 compatibility, wireless phone charging and a Head-Up Display (HUD).
