Active Sound Control (ASC)

  • Helps reduce unwanted cabin noise. Like noise-canceling headphones, the system suppresses ambient sound for a quieter cabin.
  • Can augment engine sounds in the cabin.
  • When the Integrated Dynamics System (IDS) is set to Sport+ mode, the Integra Type S has a more aggressive engine note in the passenger cabin.
  • Active Sound Control operates whenever the engine is running, even if the audio system is turned off.
