Integrated Dynamics System (IDS)

The Integrated Dynamics System (IDS) automatically and seamlessly fine-tunes the vehicle on a real-time basis to help maximize performance and driver enjoyment, regardless of conditions.

Systems adjusted via the console-mounted Dynamic Mode switch include:

  • Throttle response
  • Active Sound Control (ASC)
  • Electric Power Steering (EPS)
  • Adaptive Damper System (ADS)
  • Instrument lighting theme

Using the console-mounted Dynamic Mode switch, drivers may preset Comfort or Sport as their default mode (enabled upon engine start), while the Sport+ and Individual modes can be selected after engine startup. The selected mode is then displayed on the instrument panel.

  • Comfort mode optimizes throttle response, engine sound and electric power steering for the most luxurious driving experience. The Adaptive Damper System offers a comfortable, compliant ride. This setting makes the Integra Type S relaxed and easy to drive.
  • Sport mode enhances throttle, engine sound, EPS and Adaptive Damper System to sharpen vehicle dynamics. This setting provides direct and sport-tuned response and feel.
  • Sport+ mode adjusts throttle response, engine sound, EPS, Adaptive Damper System and Active Sound Control to intensify the driver experience.
  • Individual mode allows drivers to independently select their desired setting (Comfort, Sport or Sport+) for all controlled dynamic systems including powertrain (throttle response and Active Sound Control), steering, Adaptive Damper System and instrument lighting schemes.
