Integrated Dynamics System

The Integrated Dynamics System (IDS) automatically and seamlessly finetunes the vehicle on a real-time basis to help maximize performance and driver enjoyment. Pressing the Dynamic Mode switch toggles between four drive modes: Sport, Normal, Comfort, or Snow. The ADX A-Spec Advance offers a fifth mode: Individual.

Systems adjusted via the console-mounted Dynamic Mode switch include:

• Throttle response
• Automatic transmission function
• Active Sound Control (ASC)
• Electric Power Steering (EPS)
• Idle Stop functionality

Comfort mode optimizes throttle response, shifting, and electric power steering (EPS) for the most luxurious driving experience. This setting makes the ADX relaxed and easy to drive.

Normal mode enhances throttle response and EPS to slightly sharpen vehicle dynamics. This setting provides direct and sport-tuned response and feel.

Sport mode adjusts transmission shift mapping, throttle response, EPS, and Active Sound Control (ASC) to maximize an exhilarating drive. Idle Stop is disabled in Sport.

Snow mode maximizes controllability on snowy roads through powertrain settings. Note that Snow mode does not allow you to drive on snowy or frozen roads in all situations. When driving in these conditions, mount winter tires, reduce your speed, and maintain sufficient distance between vehicles.

Individual mode (ADX A-Spec Advance) allows drivers to independently select their desired settings. The customizable areas include:
