Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive

Built on a state-of-the-art electric vehicle platform with a flexible battery architecture, a low center of gravity and near 50/50 weight distribution, the ZDX A-Spec AWD is powered by a rear-mounted permanent magnet motor and a second permanent magnet motor up front that powers the front axle and brings total output to an exhilarating 490 horsepower.

With the standard 102 kWh lithium-ion battery, the dual-motor A-Spec is anticipated to receive an EPA-range rating of 304 zero-emission miles.⁸⁶ With full torque available from zero RPM, the computer-controlled electric motors offer precise power modulation and eliminate the need for a transmission, clutch or torque converter.
