Exclusive to Acura Sport Hybrid vehicles, this seamlessly integrates hydraulic and regenerative braking, for improved fuel efficiency with excellent brake pedal feel.

• The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) manages braking force between regenerative and hydraulic braking systems. Its operation is imperceptible to the driver.
• The braking system is fully hydraulic from the master cylinder all the way to the 4-wheel disc brakes, just like a traditional braking system.
• Under most circumstances, regenerative braking captures energy from the front and rear electric motors while slowing the vehicle.
